Kids’ Programs

Animal Crossing

Tuesdays from 2 pm-5 PM for all ages
Enjoy Animal Crossing: New Horizons? Come visit our island on Tuesdays from 2-5 PM! See the sights, swap items and visit our librarians! Friend code: SW-5175-5871-6704.

Zoom Storytime

Fridays from 10 am-10:20 am for ages 2-6

Need a screen break?  Spark your creativity with our take-home activity kits.  Kits include supplies and an instruction sheet.  Additional supplies such as scissors or glue may be required.  New kits will be available each month.  Register: Please call the library to arrange for contactless pickup.

Double Booked Teen Book Subscription Boxes

Introducing a free personalized book subscription service for tweens and teens ages 9-18. Fill out a subscription form and library staff will choose 2 library books especially for you, along with some goodies and bookish surprises. Return the books when they are due, but the rest is yours to keep! Sign up by the 15th of each month for contactless pickup at the end of the month. First subscription sign up is due by January 15th.
Teen Subscription  (ages 14-18)

SAT/ACT Test Prep

Thursdays January 14- March 11  from 2:15 pm-3 pm via Zoom for 9th-12th graders
Each week of this 9-week course covers test-taking tips for a different type of question on the SAT and ACT. It is intended to be used in addition to self-study, practice tests, and/or tutoring. This webinar series will help you find the best study resources and get the most out of your hard work. Students are free to pick and choose sessions but the whole course is recommended. There will be optional homework for each session. Register.

**Please note that these sessions are not a replacement for self-study or practice tests. The following free practice tests are available:  SATACT for English, and ACT for Math.

For Tweens

Among Us!

Alternating Wednesdays from 2 pm-3 pm via zoom for ages 9-13.
Join fellow Crewmates to play Among Us, an outerspace game of deduction and mystery! Can you figure out who the Imposters are? Players will use their own devices to play the game and Zoom for discussions to figure out who the imposters are.

We will host this program on January 13 and 27, February 10 and 24, and March 10. Register

Introduction to Tinkercad Virtual Workshop

January 9th, 2021 at 1 pm for grades 4-9
Are you a tween who loves engineering? Join us for a free workshop in 3D modeling with Collingswood Public Library and Mission: DICE! Participants will learn how to create 3D models of real life objects through Tinkercad. Design a keychain that will be printed out free of charge! Spaces are limited.
